Benefit BBQ Dinner
There will be a benefit for former Benzie Central School Bus driver Kim Williams Scott at the Interlochen Eagles Pavillion this Saturday, starting at noon. Enjoy a BBQ dinner, Silent and Chinese auctions, a 50/50 drawing, and live music from Downdraft. All proceeds will help pay for Kim’s surgeries to combat multiple brain aneurisms. TC Filmfest Internship and Essays
The Traverse City Film Festival is gearing up for another great year - and to kick things off, they're offering several internships....

Art Festival Poster Contest
Organizers of the 29th Annual Suttons Bay Art Festival are having a poster contest. The winning poster designer will receive $300 and their poster will be used to advertise this year's festival. Leelenau Chamber seeking Volunteers
The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers. The Chamber needs individuals who love meeting new people, helping visitors discover all of the wonderful amenities of Leelanau County and providing service to Chamber members. Opportunities include greeting visitors, responding to telephone and email requests for information, and mailing brochures to individuals from all over the country who plan on visiting the area.
